Slack + Intelligems
Test alerts, answers, and support where your team already works.
Most of the people who need test results never open the dashboard. This brings the answer to them.
The Intelligems Slack integration does three things: it sends automated alerts when your A/B tests hit milestones, it puts an AI agent in your workspace that answers questions about test results, personalizations, and sitewide analytics in plain English, and it opens a shared channel with the Intelligems support team.
Does Intelligems integrate with Slack?
Yes. Once connected, Intelligems posts alerts as your tests progress:
| Alert | Fires when |
|---|---|
| Big win | A test has run 7 days and a variation is up at least 10% |
| Statistical significance | A test has run 7 days, each variation has 300 orders, and probability to beat control hits 90% |
| Sample size gathered | A test has run 7 days and each variation has at least 300 orders |
| Runtime milestone | A test crosses 7 days, then 14 days |
| No orders | A test has been live a day with zero orders |
| No visitors | A test has been live a day with zero visitors |
| Test lifecycle | A test starts, pauses, resumes, or ends |
| Daily and weekly summary | On the schedule you set |
Thresholds are yours to set. If 90% probability to beat control is stricter than how your team decides, move it.
For the fuller story on what the agent can answer, see Introducing the Intelligems Slack Bot.
How the integration works
The agent reads, it does not build
It answers questions about test performance, personalizations, sitewide analytics, and setup. It does not create or launch experiences. For that, connect Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini through the Intelligems MCP server.
You decide when it speaks
With auto-respond on, the agent answers new threads on its own. With it off, it answers only when you mention @intelligems. Follow-up questions in an existing thread always need the mention. If the answer is not enough, react with 🎫 and a person from Intelligems support picks it up.
Older connections need reconnecting
Connections made before March 24, 2026 predate the permissions the AI agent and alerts require. Disconnect and reconnect in Integration Settings and both start working.
To get started
In Intelligems, on the bottom left navigation, click Integrations > Slack and complete the Slack OAuth flow
Choose the channel where alerts should land, then set your alert types and thresholds
Add the agent to any other channel with /add
Connecting requires a Slack admin. If nobody on your team has that access, contact Intelligems support and we will set the channel up for you.
Available on every plan
The Slack integration is included in all plans. The shared support channel is available through the Intelligems partner program.
