We’re excited to share that Intelligems has officially acquired Because —a platform that’s helped over 1,000 Shopify brands build personalized shopping experiences.

This move represents a deeper investment in a future we believe in: one where brands can build smarter ecommerce experiences, powered by data, creativity, and confidence. A future where personalization and testing go hand in hand to help every brand make decisions backed by insight—and ultimately, drive more profit from each visitor.

At Intelligems, we’ve always been known for testing—price tests, shipping tests, and more. But we’ve also seen how critical personalization is for helping brands craft experiences that meet customers where they are. We first launched our personalization feature in summer 2024, and we’re excited to continue investing in tools that empower brands to act on data and intuition together—not one without the other. We’re also thrilled to welcome Ashland Stansbury, the founder of Because, as an advisor to Intelligems.

I first met Ashland back in 2024 and was immediately impressed by her thoughtfulness, product taste, and deep empathy for ecommerce operators.
